About

My name is Kerry and I love playing with color, sitting by the ocean and traveling to new places.  I love making rooms look cozy and I feel IMMENSE satisfaction seeing fun art on people’s walls.

My art is simple.  You don’t have to understand it or dissect it.  I just like color and stuff that makes people happy.

There is also an underlying theme about connection that tends to resonate across the pieces.  The abstracts are a deep dive reflection of my personal response to emotional connections; the maps are connective in how you respond to specific places; the more representational pieces are studies in color connections.

In all cases, my sincere attempts are to make things that look great, brighten up a space or mood or to elevate vibrations.

I graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in printmaking (a million years ago) and have been painting ever since as life allows.  I live with my husband and two kids in the greater Boston area.  My life dream is to travel the world with them and experience just how connected we all are.

When I’m not painting, you can find me sitting by the ocean or figuring out how I’ll get there again soon.  I like pretending that I eat super healthy and exercise regularly but also really enjoy a good coffee shop outing.

If you are interested in hearing more about my art, please send me an email at Kerry@KerryBrockArt.com and I’ll send you some updates.  I’m still trying to figure out mailing lists.  I send only one email out each September talking about happenings of the previous year and things to look forward to.

Here’s to chasing our dreams!
